old computer

Call me old school, but I still prefer my laptop over a tablet or phone. Don’t get me wrong, I love my mobile devices. And that is just what they are, devices. My laptop is my studio, (away from desktop), with a Real Keyboard and mouse if I need to use it.

I guess a person could get the needed attachments with a device, but I prefer the hum of the fan… oops I am really dating myself. With newer laptops there is no hum. Well maybe I can look into that shortly, maybe it is time for an upgrade, but in the meantime I will enjoy my HP HDX. I’ve got everything I need with it, including nice Dolby 3D sound!

What can we say, out with the old and in with the new. Sometimes it is hard to make that change knowing that the New Way will make our lives so much simpler, or is it safe to say lazier?

I am a fan, advocate and member of innovation. I believe that what we imagine can and will happen and all things are possible. Does that mean that mean I have to keep changing the way I work currently? sometimes I find it counter productive upgrading services and devices just because it is available to do so.

I guess I will continue to write applications on my pc that produce Apps that run on devices. Until there is an App or Device that can accomplish what I can in front of a laptop or desktop I will continue with my old fashioned keyboard and mouse.
